This week, Stevi Carr, founder of WISe Wellness Guild, dives into Hormone Replacement Therapies (HRT) with Dr. Sarah E. Bartlett, MD. Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology at The Christ Hospital Health Network, Dr. Bartlett chose early in her career to focus on caring for women outside of pregnancy.

"I get a lot of questions about hormone therapies and whether it's safe and right for my body," says Dr. Bartlett.

Not all hormones are the same. They each respond differently and each has their own risks and benefits. Women are uniquely made in their chemistry, their personal health and family history, and these all are in play when determining hormone safety for you.

Is Hormone Replacement Therapy safe? Largely, yes for a lot of women!

In today's episode, come to understand:

  • Benefits of HRT
  • How HRT can help in preventing osteoporosis, and other diseases such as heart disease and dementia
  • Ways HRT are administered to your body
  • How to know if you're a good candidate for HRT
  • Are there ways besides HRT that will relieve my symptoms
