Meet Senior Executive Coach and Certified Forest Therapy Guide- Pam Cho

Tell us a little bit about yourself...
I live in Cincinnati, am married to my soulmate, David "Tex" Cho, and extra blessed to have a stepson, Patrick and son-in-law, David who live in Belgium. Our rescue golden retriever, Robert, is a therapy dog and charms everyone at the hospital with his good looks and calm demeanor. Our gorgeous, rescue Maine Coon cat "Max" is very introverted, so no one gets to see how handsome he is. We enjoy glamping, cooking, entertaining family & friends, pickleball, and walking on trails along the Ohio River.

What is the most important thing you do for your wellness?
Two non-negotiables: 1. private coffee time outdoors on the patio when I wake up. 2) strength training twice a week. I also love swimming, yoga and walking.

What is one piece of advice you'd give to others?
A regular routine for self care and restoration for your heart, mind, body and spirit are non-negotiable. In this day and age when there are so many sources of stress, the only way to break the circle of self sacrifice is to do things that recharge your batteries.

Take a walk after dinner, hang with friends, work in your garden, stock your kitchen with healthy eats, get a manicure, buy a flower bouquet, stay hydrated, go to a move theater, get 7-8 hrs sleep.

Block "reoccurring" self care events on your calendar and protect them - don't give away your power. Own your calendar.

What is one quote/ mantra you live by?
Growing up in our home, you always heard my Mom and Dad repeating this mantra to my two sisters and me: "You'll never regret doing the right thing."

Brag on yourself- what is something you are REALLY proud of?
I'm humbled to have been recognized by the Cincinnati Business Courier and Gardenuity for creating a successful career transition from corporate to entrepreneur "after the age of 50." The transition from corporate to starting Trek Executive Coaching in 2009 has given me the best years of my life and I'm living them right now.

What is something people might not know about you?
Fun fact: Most people don't know I was a judge at the Miss America Pageant in Atlantic City. I met with and helped select the scholarship winners.
