The Well 52: Molly Nagle, owner of Spruce Nail Shop
Welcome to The Well 52, a platform we are hosting at WISe Wellness Guild that celebrates women leading in the whole-self wellness industry and supporting other women along the way.
Meet our nominee of The Well 52: Molly Nagle
Molly is owner of Spruce Nail Shop, located at 1818 Race St. in OTR.
What is the most important thing you do for your wellness?
I think it would be my hand written to-do lists and working out. There is something about physically crossing off a completed task that helps me to feel just a bit more in control and accomplished. I admittedly do not particularly get excited about working out, but it is something that I have found helps me both physically and mentally so much that I have to make it a priority.
What is one piece of advice you'd give to other women?
To collaborate with other women-owned businesses. Instead of seeing others as competition, reach out to them, work with them, and you will find yourself with a lot more support and a lot more encouragement. Owning a business can be a lonely job sometimes, so you have to actively find other people who you respect and admire, and work with them.
What is one quote or mantra you live by?
"When you know better, do better," by Maya Angelou. Spruce is constantly evolving and growing. And every day I learn how to do my job just a little bit better. There’s no shame in saying I have learned from my mistakes and I will be better for this tomorrow. It’s humbling and motivating at the same time.
Brag on yourself – what is something you are REALLY proud of?

My son. Being a mom is my greatest accomplishment, and what I am most proud of in this world.
