Tell us a little bit about yourself...
After a decade in corporate brand management, I took the leap to own and operate DEFINE Oakley, a boutique fitness studio. I'm a big believer in holistic wellness, and I'm passionate about helping others find balance in both their mental and physical health.

What is the most important thing you do for your wellness?
Daily exercise is essential to my mental health. Most days, I start my day with a 6am class at DEFINE. If I can't make it to class, or if I need a day of more gentle movement, I walk my dogs. I love walking them on sunny days!

What is one piece of advice you'd give to others?
Make time for yourself daily, even if it's just for 10 minutes. Here are some ideas: take a few deep breaths in your car before heading inside after work, do a guided meditation before bed, write in a gratitude journal, or take a walk at lunchtime. Do something that fills you up at least once per day.

What is one quote/ mantra you live by?
Everything happens for a reason.

Brag on yourself- what is something you are REALLY proud of?
I'm surprisingly good at keeping houseplants alive! In 2020, I bought a large Fiddle Leaf Fig as my first real houseplant, oblivious to how finicky they can be. I quickly learned how to care for it, and it's still thriving over four years later! My plant collection has grown exponentially since then, and I've started propagating plants to share with others. Plants add life to a space while maintaining a minimalist aesthetic. Caring for them and watching them grow is meditative for me.
