What is the most important thing you do for your wellness?

Laugh! There are certainly places and times to be serious, but being able to laugh and not take ourselves too seriously is so important. It releases happy hormones! I would know, I'm a doctor!

What is one piece of advice you'd give to other women?

Everything in life is a work in progress. I don't like to be stuck on milestones (even though it's hard not to!). Try to enjoy the present and find happiness in the details of the journey, not just when you reach a goal or achievement.

What is one quote or mantra you live by?

I can only control my own behavior. So often it's easy to be affected by the attitudes or negativity of others. If I can respond in a positive way, I can be content that at the end of the day, I've done my best.

Brag on yourself – what is something you are REALLY proud of?

I'm really proud of the work that I do. I love combining my artistic skills with my surgical skills to help patients achieve their goals. I truly feel like I'm sharing my talent with the world, which is such a rewarding feeling.
