Did you know you should crack an egg on a flat surface vs. the lip of a bowl? It’s nuggets like this you learn (and maybe eat too) at Tablespoon Cooking Co., located in Over-the-Rhine Cincinnati. Founded by chef Jordan Hamons, Tablespoon Cooking Co started in 2016 with the goal to teach home cooks how to cook good food through cooking classes and culinary events. It’s both a WISe and local favorite! (We celebrated the holiday season here in 2021).
Jordan is a classically-trained chef, which means she’s gone to school for extensive training to perfect her cooking craft from Midwest Culinary Institute. With years of experience before starting Tablespoon Cooking Co., (think professional corporate chef, private chef, and caterer), Jordan still has an appetite to learn more. She stays curious through travel and sampling food wherever she might land.
