What is dopamine? 

Dopamine is known as the “feel-good” hormone. It gives you a sense of pleasure. Dopamine is responsible for allowing you to feel pleasure, satisfaction and motivation. When you feel good that you have achieved something, it's because you have a surge of dopamine in the brain.

Too much of a good thing is can create a problem- engaging in too many "instantly gratifying" dopamine triggers like social media, gambling and gaming can deplete our ability to find satisfaction in truly rewarding experiences. 

While "Dopamine Detoxing" is still being researched, we at WISe Wellness Guild believe there is great power in the "unplug."

Here's a quick guide to get you started on your dopamine detox:
