3 WISe Approved Beauty Products from Ulta Beauty

A few months ago, when I asked my niece where she wanted to go shopping for her 12th birthday, without hesitation she said Ulta Beauty. Skin care products are quite the rage among the youth these days, and it seems to me like a healthy hobby for teens to partake in all things considered. While my niece was deep into shopping for bath bombs and sugar scrubs, I meandered into the featured skincare products and came upon 3 affordable products that I have tried out for months now and highly recommend!

I have sensitive skin, so I am always looking for gentle products without perfumes or harsh chemicals. I came upon First Aid Beauty and wow was I impressed! First Aid Beauty prides itself on being the Sensitive Skin Specialists. All their products are artificial fragrance free, cruelty free, dermatologist tested, and include clean ingredients so that's a good start in my book! Below are two of my favorite products from them.

1) Hydrating Eye Cream with hyaluronic acid- $30

There are a ton of eye creams out there all at different price points. This one is affordable and comes in at just $30! I put this on every morning and evening and a little goes a long way with this cream. What I like about it is that it feels like it really sinks into my skin and makes my eyes feel refreshed each time I put it on.  It’s a great everyday cream and the hyaluronic acid helps keep my skin wrinkle free and moisturized during the day.

2) Weightless Liquid Mineral Sunscreen, SPF 30- $36

Most sunscreens I have used on my face are usually a cream. A lot tend to be greasy and always have a habit of getting into my eyes! Well, this product has solved that problem. This sunscreen is unique in that it is a liquid as opposed to a thick cream. It absorbs so fast into your skin and leaves your face feeling fresh.  What is also amazing about this product is that it comes in just one tint color for all skin types. I am extremely pale and even though this liquid is a medium brown color it absorbs right into my skin and leaves just a faint tint that makes my skin feel more uniform. You can put your makeup on over this knowing your skin is protected with the 30 SPF!

3) 10% Vitamin C Brightening Serum - $50

I have tried a lot of Vitamin C Serums in my day. Vitamin C is known to help brighten skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. A lot of the Vitamin C products I have purchased before leaked and been difficult to apply. This bottle has a nice spill free pump that allows you to put just a coin size amount into your palm before you apply it to your skin. I have noticed my skin feels brighter after using this consistently. I'm also happy that it's light enough on my skin that it hasn't caused any breakouts!
